About Me

photo 2I have 16 years experience as a Complementary Therapist and I am passionate about helping people find a space in their life to deeply relax, nurture their body and mind and discover new ways to create a life they love.

My interest in Complementary Therapies began in 1998 when illness forced me to stop, listen to the messages my body was giving me, and discover some new ways to maintain my own health.

Initially I trained as a Reflexologist and became fascinated by the holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Learning about how our bodies function and what we can do to help them heal was very empowering for me and I wanted to know more! I was keen to learn everything I could about working with our bodies, stimulating a healing response and about how I could share this information with others.

Over the years that followed I have explored many different approaches to health and healing and I discovered a particular affinity with the Eastern Five Element Theory and for the associated Meridian Therapies. I was drawn to study Jin Shin Jyutsu, and it was through this gentle art that I began to learn to deeply listen to the body, to read its energy and to rebalance energy for health and emotional wellbeing.

In 2002 I began to study PKP Kinesiology and found that this powerful therapy allows us to explore and untangle the connections between the body and the mind in an amazing way! It not only helped my clients to balance their energy, raise their energy and reduce pain, but also to clear their mental emotional blocks and create a life they love.

Today I work with each of these therapies supporting people from all walks of life within a friendly, professional and relaxing clinic space. Above all I aim to take time to listen, and understand what my clients most want from the treatment they have chosen to receive, whether that be:
  • A space to deeply relax, let go of worry and tension, and emerge feeling recharged.
  • Treatments that focus on resolving specific health/wellbeing issues.
  • Or a valuable, confidential space to talk out problems and air feelings.

Most recently I have added The Dorn Method to the list of treatments that I offer.  I have personally found this to be a fabulous way to overcome backpain and I am delighted to now be able to share it through my practice.
